The ability to meet you where you are- individuals today often spend a good portion of their day online, and the ability to engage with you through a medium you are already familiar with (similar to FaceTime/ video calls, but secure and HIPAA compliant)
TELETHERAPY FACTS:
Face to face video call sessions are experienced in a manner quite similar to in person sessions
Research on Effectiveness of Teletherapy has shown that it is as effective, and in some cases more effective than in-person sessions
My teletherapy practice is only done via face to face, HIPAA compliant, secure video call. You can access the secure link on your phone, tablet, or computer.
There are some situations in which teletherapy is not appropriate. I offer a free initial consult to determine if this may be the case and if so, I can make recommendations for in-person therapy in your area.
